Learn about Cromwell Cultural District. It is a compact area of artistic and cultural activities that strengthens the distinctive character of a community by enhancing its social vibrancy and economic health. Artists, entrepreneurs, and creative businesses are promoted along with the community’s culture and history. The State of Connecticut has recognized the Town of Cromwell as the 16th official Cultural District, in the State. Cromwell is particularly noted for its substantial access to the Connecticut River, downtown murals, and home to the annual PGA golf tournament hosted by Traveler’s Insurance Company.
